Techno Repair Terms and Conditions
Confidentiality: Techno Repair agrees not to disclose any and all information or data files supplied with, stored on, or recovered from client’s equipment except to employees or agents of Techno Repair subject to confidentiality agreements or as required by law. Data Protection is taken very seriously and all operations take place with this at the forefront.
Techno Repair shall a) not be liable for any claims regarding the physical functioning of the equipment/media or the condition or existence of data stored on the media supplied before, during or after services; b) In no event will Techno Repair be liable for any loss of data or loss of revenue or profits before, during or after services even if Techno Repair has been advised of the possibility of damages or loss to persons or property.
Preserving client data is of utmost priority to Techno Repair however there are occasions that repairs are not possible without some or complete loss of data.
Upon submission of the repair product the client automatically agrees that Techno Repair cannot be held to account for any loss or damage to data. Which may occur as a result of repairs, upgrades or any other services carried out on repair products.
The client must be aware of the inherent risks of damage to media or equipment that is involved when undergoing data recovery or computer repairs, including without limitation, risks due to destruction or damage to the media or equipment and/or data stored and inability to recover data, or inaccurate or incomplete data recovery, including those that may result from the negligence of Techno Repair. The client agrees not to hold Techno Repair responsible for any damage or loss of equipment or media or data loss. In case of any damage or loss to the original media or equipment, the liability of Techno Repair shall be limited to providing the client with; where reasonable; similar media or equipment of comparable price or capacity.
Client product repairs benefit from free diagnostic. Once the problem has been diagnosed and a price is quoted the customer can accept or decline the offer. Once accepted the full amount is payable and the repair cannot be cancelled.
If an estimate is the only possible quote, prior to the technician completing a full diagnosis; Techno Repair is not liable to honouring the initial estimated quote as this is only intended as a guide. An accurate quote is only provided after the technician has completed the diagnostics on the repair product.
All quotes are individually tailored and cannot be used to negotiate terms of any new quote, however Techno Repair reserve the right to use this as a guide and precedent.
Vouchers and Offers
No voucher or offer is permissible in conjunction with any other voucher or offer. If a price has been negotiated, further use of a voucher or offer may become void. Management have a right to use discretion on such occasions.
Techno Repair will use all reasonable endeavours to provide computer services in accordance with the terms of the contract and will ensure that all the Services are provided with all reasonable care and skill and by suitably trained and qualified persons.
During transport, should the client’s repair product develop a fault in the course of the delivery by Techno Repair, the client agrees not to hold Techno Repair responsible for the fault. However, Techno Repair will do its best to remedy the problem at no cost to client(s) unless parts are required.
Any advice or recommendations given to the client or consumer by Techno Repair or its employees or agents as to storage, application, use or preference of the goods given by Techno Repair, is followed or acted upon entirely at own risk and accordingly Techno Repair shall not be liable for any such advice or recommendation.
While Techno Repair will make every effort to preserve the integrity of any equipment under repair, the Customer agrees not to hold Techno Repair responsible for any accidental damages to the equipment in its possession including but not limited to surface scratches, deformations and cracks.
All client repair products; once repaired or declared irreparable or if the client has decided not to go ahead with the repair; must be collected within 14 days from the time the client is informed. If the client fails to collect the repaired or irreparable product, we reserve the right to charge the customer for storage at a rate of £3 a day until the passage of a maximum of 8 weeks. The customer must claim or collect the Laptop/computer within 8 weeks, after which time the laptop/computer will be recycled for parts and the customer will lose ownership of the laptop/computer.
Techno Repair offers 28 days warrantee on the repair carried out. If the item repaired develops the same fault again Techno Repair will repair the product free of charge however may charge the customer for any parts required i.e RAM or HDD. If Techno Repair suspects that the fault has been caused again due to negligence Techno Repair will not be liable to repair it free of charge.
Should a warrantee sticker be removed or tampered the warrantee becomes null and void immediately.
Techno Repair shall not be liable to the client whether in contract, tort or otherwise and even if foreseeable by or in the contemplation of Techno Repair for: (a) any loss of profits, business, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings, whether sustained by the client or any other person; or (b) any special, indirect, or consequential loss whether sustained by the client or any other person.
Techno Repair may take images of clients laptop, computer, game console, monitor or TV and use these as an advertising tool on website or social media sites. Data protection will remain priority in these instances.
Techno Repair further do not warrant that the website or the products and materials contained on such site are error free, or that errors will be corrected, or that this site or the server from which it is run is free of viruses or other potentially harmful codes.
Items for sale
All pre owned items are to be tested and checked prior to purchase. They are sold as seen. If a fault develops within 28 days of purchase through no negligence of the customer Techno Repair will repair the issue. On the rare occasion, that a reasonable repair is not possible then the customer may be offered an exchange only on discretion of client.
Should you change your mind about your purchase, you are able to exchange the product with your proof of purchase within 14 days, and we’ll happily offer a replacement. To qualify for an exchange the product must be in the same condition as sold with all original packaging and labels intact.
E- Cigarettes must be checked and tested prior to leaving the store there is no exchange/ refund or repair under any circumstances once the product has left the store and payment is complete.
